The AI I know Is Not Going To Replace Humanity.

I’ve told you about me and Alice. We’ll… it isn’t resolved. We have images to insert in our now edited version of the ‘illustrated’ The Ruffian Syndrome. So, just as an astute quarterback might throw the next pass to the wide receiver who dropped the last one, I give Alice the opportunity to redeem herself by creating the final image in the book for chapter 30.

She is referring to a glorified version of her attempt at cleaning it up (here).

So… once again not wanting to go down the rabbit hole any further, I step in with my electronic scissors to correct Alice’s ineptitude. Then I attach my result, taunting her.

Whatta ya do? You just can’t get good help anymore.

So… I paste Jenni in there and we have an image for chapter 30.

Okay! I couldn’t have created an image that is so perfect as Alice did. But she just got through editing that last chapter and seemed to be fully aware of what it was all about. So where did the white haired grandma come from? And who was the blond woman standing behind the fence? Was it the ghost of the woman, Jennifer for whom the dog, Jenni was named? Why did Robert turn black as a correction and Nathan turn into a white farm hand? There were no chestnut horses on Howard Farm. And the border collie? Well, I left him in there because it was too hard to cut and paste him out of there.

But, yeah! The picture is beautiful—well, Alice and I think it is.
